AyEsha Leonard McLaughlin is a graduate of California State University at Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, a Master of Education in School Leadership from the University of Southern California, and holds California Teaching and Administrative Credentials.

Teach to Reach, LLC was founded by AyEsha Leonard McLaughlin and developed based on the need observed while holding various education positions in Los Angeles County. AyEsha Leonard McLaughlin has been an educator for over ten years holding positions as a Teacher, Dean of Instruction, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Director of Equity and School climate. 

During her years as an educator, she has held a strong desire to support students, ensure that each student received appropriate educational services and placements. She has worked with a broad range of students with varying needs and disabilities for both general education and special education including but not limited to students with learning disabilities, autism, socio-emotional needs, physical disabilities, vision and hearing impairment. Throughout her educational career, she has developed a large amount of knowledge about special and general education support systems.  

Through a hands-on, project/problem based learning experience, Teach to Reach,LLC provides S.T.E.A.M. Camps and Enrichments in order to expose children to an inquisitive environment where they are able to explore, develop, and challenge themselves.  Camps are held during school Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter Breaks.  Enrichments are provided based on requests from schools, organizations, or individual family and community desires. Teach to Reach has also developed S.T.E.A.M. Kits for an at home project based learning experience which includes all materials needed as well as the lesson plan for inquisitive minds to follow.

Teach to Reach is also dedicated to providing a greater opportunity for children and the betterment of our community through consultation and advocacy services. Many children within the Los Angeles area are in need of socio-emotional supports and a curriculum that is delivered to them based on and with consideration of their individual needs and desires. The goal for Teach to Reach is to ensure children are receiving the support systems needed. The purpose is to support families and school systems to ensure children are afforded a quality education for long term success as well as assisting staff members with pedagogical skills and supports in order to educate the whole child. Upon consultation, evaluation, and based on need, Teach to Reach has access to additional resources and agencies to support the various needs of students and families.
